PG Medical Admission

Getting an admission to any of the PG Medical Colleges in Karnataka is becoming a dream for many vibrant PG Medical Aspirants. However, several dynamic processes are involved in each step when it comes to getting admitted to any of the PG Medical Colleges in Karnataka. Karnataka is a home to 56 Medical Colleges teaching MBBS Course and several colleges teaching PG Medical Courses.

The decision of MCI, the now defunct committee, had recently ruled that each college teaching MBBS Course should include PG Medical Branches as well. The decision will indeed foster the gravitation of MBBS Graduates towards the state of Karnataka, a preferable destination for national and international aspirants. MCI had thankfully disapproved of a Government Notification rendering a 10-year study in the state mandatory to qualify for PG Medical Education in Karnataka.

The seats across the PG Medical colleges in Karnataka are allotted based on the merit of the candidates in PG Medical Entrance Test or NEET PG and the suitability of their candidature. The candidates belonging to the NRI Quota need to thoroughly analyze the rules and regulations. The candidate gets the seats as per his / her options. Candidates have a choice to select their favorite college. Getting admitted to the courses like Master of Surgery (MS) or Doctor of Medicine, more formally MD Course witnesses stiff competition at present.

The candidates are mandated to create a list of their preferences. The candidates willing to join any particular college / institute should prioritize the preferences. The computer / system takes further actions based on the candidature and the reservation criteria. The candidates subsequently undergo the allotment procedures and ultimately become eligible to pursue PG Medical Courses in Karnataka provided they have a suitable candidature.

Contending for MD Seats in India is getting increasingly harder in the wake of competition. It seems that the MD MS Admissions in the state of Karnataka will see many more competitive milestones in future. Diploma in Medicine is another good choice for the ones willing to start their professional career at the earliest. MS Admission or MD Admission in the southern state of Karnataka has seen notable popularity in the past few decades.

Now that the MCI is officially defunct, there may be slight changes which may or may not alter or modify the admission processes across various Indian States. The candidates, however, are requested to stay updated with the information being outsourced across various authentic online domains to ensure that they are on the right track.
