The reservation of seats in AIIMS is as follows:

1) 49.5% of the total PG medical seats excluding those for Sponsored/Foreign National candidates are reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (15%), Scheduled Tribes for (7.5%) and the Other Backward Classes Non-creamy layer (27%).

2) 5% seats of the annual sanctioned intake capacity shall be filled up by candidates with benchmark disabilities.

3) Those who have graduated from AIIMS New Delhi shall be preferred for admission against 50% of total PG medical seats of AIIMS of the open general seats without any discipline wise preference.

The candidates are instructed to follow the following dress code while appearing for NEET 2019 exam: 

 

  • Light clothes with half sleeves. Long sleeves are not permitted. If candidates come in cultural/customary dress at the NEET exam centre, they should report at least one hour before the last reporting time i.e. 12.30 PM so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate. 
  • Slippers, sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.
