The following candidates will not be eligible to participate in the second round of AIIMS PG medical counselling:

 

1.  All candidates who did not participate in the first round of counselling.

 

2. All candidates who were allotted seat in the first round but did not select any option to proceed within specified date and time.

 

3.  All candidates who selected Option 1 after seat allotment in the first round and completed joining formalities at allotted institute within specified date and time.

 

4. All candidates who were allotted seat and selected Option 1, 2 or 4 but did not submit required documents/DD at AIIMS within stipulated date and time.
 

The following candidates will be eligible to participate in the second round of AIIMS PG medical counselling:

 

1. Candidates who have been allotted seat in the first round of counselling and selection Option 2 (ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in Second Round of Counselling).

 

2. Candidates who have been allotted seat in the first round of counselling and selection Option 4 (DECLINE/REFUSE allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in Second Round of Counselling).

 

3. Candidates who have not been allotted seat in the first round of counselling.
 

If you have allotted PG medical seat in the first round of counselling then you are required to log in to Online PG counselling/Seat allocation portal within specified date and time and select one of the following options:

 

Option 1: ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of counselling

 

Option 2: ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in Second Round of Counselling

 

Option 3: DECLINE/REFUSE allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in Second Round of Counselling

 

Option 4: DECLINE/REFUSE allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in Second Round of Counselling

 

Failure to select any of the above options will lead to forfeiture of allotted PG medical seat and you will ineligible for the second and third round of AIIMS PG counselling.
 

You can view the choices that you have submitted and locked. For that, you need to login to the Online PG counselling/Seat allocation portal and click on View Choices tab. The choices you have submitted will be displayed on the screen. It is advised to take print out of the same.

Yes, the choices can be changed in the next round of AIIMS PG counselling.

The last saved choices and their order will be considered as Submitted and Locked choices at the last date and time for that round even if the candidate fails to submit and lock the choices.

After adding choices, you must click on Submit and Lock Choices tab, tick the Checkbox “I accept the declaration”, and click on Submit and Lock Choices. You will be asked twice to reconsider/recheck. After you have submitted and locked choices, you cannot change the choices for that round.

No, you can add choices (AIIMS and specialty), edit or reorder them as many times as you want unless you have already submitted and locked the choices or the last date and time for that particular round is over. 

The number of candidates called for AIIMS PG online counselling/seat allocation process will be 8 times the number of PG medical seats. The mock round of counselling shall begin first followed by subsequent rounds of counselling. The counselling schedule for each round shall be available on the official website of AIIMS (www.aiimsexams.org).

 

The candidates need to participate in online counselling and exercise options. The sponsored/Foreign National candidates need not participate in AIIMS PG 2019 online counselling process, as the seat allocation process will have already been done in the result notification.

 

The candidates who will confirm allotted seat have to go to respective AIIMS institute and complete the admission formalities that include biometric and document verification. 

 

The selected candidates shall undergo a medical examination by the Board appointed by the institute and if found medically fit will join the course after depositing the requisite fee.

There are two Passwords to be maintained safely by the candidates. The first password is required to Login to access MyPage and link for Online AIIMS PG counselling Portal. In case if you forget the first password, you can retrieve it by clinking on the Forgot your Login Details button. The password will be sent to your registered Email ID.


The second password is required to access Online AIIMS PG counselling Portal. In case if you forget the second password, you can retrieve it by clicking on the Forgot Candidate ID and Password button. The password will be sent to your registered Email ID.

After you register for Online AIIMS PG counselling, you must login with Newly Created Password. On logging in, you need to confirm your name and Candidate ID. Next, click Make Choice button to exercise choices. To add a choice, choose the AIIMS institute and specialization from two separate drop-down menus and click Add Choice. You can delete a particular choice by Clicking on Delete button against that choice.

By default, the choices (AIIMS and speciality) will be in the order in which you add them. You can reorder the choices using Up and Down arrows or Drag and Drop the choices to desired position in the list.

The Open Round of AIIMS PG counselling 2019 is conducted for filling up PG medical seats which remained vacant after completion of third round of counselling due to surrender/resignation, etc. It will be an offline counselling. The details about the schedule and venue will be notified on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi. Interested candidates, who are qualified in AIIMS PG 2019, need to register themselves to participate in the Open Round of AIIMS PG counselling. Candidates will be allowed to attend Open Round of AIIMS PG counselling only after the production of print out of registration Slip issued at the time of online registration.

If PG medical seats remain vacant after completion of Open Round of AIIMS PG 2019 counselling, these seats will be filled by Spot Counselling which will be conducted at respective AIIMS separately. The details about the schedule and venue will be notified on the official websites of respective AIIMS. Interested candidates, who are qualified in AIIMS PG 2019, need to register themselves online for Spot Counselling on the respective websites of AIIMS separately.

50% of the total Open General PG medical seats are reserved for candidates who are graduated from various AIIMS. Any seat remaining vacant in the Institutional Preference Quota will be made available to other General Category candidates in the order of merit.

The Proforma for Sponsored/SC/ST/OBC certificate is available to the candidates in the Prospectus of AIIMS PG. The language of the Certificate should be specified as in the format.

The candidates who have been allotted seat in the first round of counselling and selected Option 2 or Option 4 are eligible for Second Round of AIIMS PG counselling 2019. 


Option 2 indicates that the candidate has accepted the allotted seat and wants to participate in the second round of counselling and Option 4 indicates that the candidate has declined/refused the allotted PG medical seat and wants to participate in the second round of counselling.

The candidates should carry all the original documents which includes offer letter, registration slip, admit card, MBBS mark sheets, MBBS certificate, Internship certificate, MCI/SMC registration certificate, high school/higher secondary certificate/birth certificate for proof of date of birth, category certificate as applicable along with DD of INR 3,00,000 at the time of reporting to the allotted AIIMS.

Candidates who are permanent employees of any Central/State Govt./Armed Forces/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body can be sponsored by the respective Govt./Defence authorities or the competent authorities of Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous body.

 
A State Govt. can sponsor a candidate only for those PG medical courses which are not available in the State. In such case, a certificate regarding non-availability of the course in the state, duly signed by the Secretary/Director General of Health Services of the Central / State Government/ Competent Authority or PSU/Autonomous Body viz. Director/Executive Head of the concerned organization /DGAFMS should be submitted in the prescribed format.


Sponsored candidates need to register online and fill online AIIMS PG application form indicating the choice of one specialization. However, the candidate may be sponsored for more than one AIIMS for that specialization only. All sponsored candidates will be called for an entrance test by the institute. The specialization for which the candidate is being sponsored should be clearly mentioned in the sponsorship form by the sponsoring authority.


The sponsored candidates need not participate in the Online AIIMS PG Counselling. The seat allocation process will have already been done in the AIIMS PG result notification.


Sponsored candidates will be designated as "trainees".


Sponsored candidates must submit Sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format in original from their employers along with the print out of the application form & Registration Slip to the Asstt. Controller of Examination, AIIMS, New Delhi-110 608 by 20 Oct 2018. Those who fail to do so can submit before the date of issue of AIIMS PG admit cards failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

Foreign Nationals need to fill in the prescribed online application form indicating the choice of one specialization for admission. The registration slip of online application should be sent through Diplomatic Channel. An “Advance Copy” is required to be submitted at AIIMS New Delhi before the last date of online registration. Such candidates are also required to appear in the entrance exam.

 

Also, Nominations/No objection for the candidates from the concerned Ministry should reach the AIIMS Exam Department on or before the notified date. 

 

The foreign nationals who are allotted the college should be registered with MCI/SMC to join the course.

Spot counselling will be conducted after the completion of Open Round of AIIMS PG counselling. As per the availability of seats, the dates and venue will be notified by respective AIIMS on their official websites. 

There are total 436 PG medical seats including all seven AIIMS (AIIMS New Delhi: 91; AIIMS Bhopal: 61; AIIMS Bhubaneswar: 64; AIIMS Jodhpur: 69; AIIMS Patna: 45; AIIMS Raipur: 55; AIIMS Rishikesh: 51).

You must visit the official website of AIIMS (www.aiimsexams.org) and click on Academic Courses tab. Then, click on MD/MS/MCh(6yrs)/DM(6yrs) under Post-Graduate Section. Further, click on Registration/Login and enter login credentials, which you have been using for filling Final Registration form, under Applicant Login. Go to MyPage and you will see the link for PG Online Counselling/Seat Allocation portal. This link will be activated only for those who are eligible for the AIIMS PG counselling 2019. The first time users need to Register themselves and create a New Password for logging in and making choices.

The online AIIMS PG counselling 2019 includes the following stages:

 

  • New Registration for first time user
  • Exercising choices (AIIMS and Specialization) 
  • Locking the choices
  • Announcement of MOCK results 
  • Reordering of choices and Locking the choices
  • Announcement of First Round of AIIMS PG counselling result
  • Acceptance or Refusal of the allotted PG medical seat

The candidates must bring the following documents at the time of counselling:

1.  Original Hall Ticket with a seal of the Invigilator
2.  JIPMER PG Rank letter
3.  Birth Certificate/SSLC mark sheet for Proof of date of birth
4.  MBBS Mark Statement
5.  Internship Completion Certificate
6.  Conduct Certificate obtained from the Institute last attended
7.  Transfer Certificate obtained from the Institute last studied
8.  Migration Certificate obtained from the University last attended
9.  MBBS Degree or Provisional Pass certificate
10. Permanent/Provisional Medical Registration Certificate
11. Residence certificate issued by Revenue Authority, not below the rank of Tahsildar or AADHAR card or Voter ID or Passport copy
12. In case of Other Backward Classes/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, a Community Certificate, recently obtained from the competent authority (a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar)
13. Certificate from the Institute last studied, stating that the Medical Council of India recognizes the degree obtained by him/her from that Institute
14. Service candidate should produce NOC / Relieving Order and a certificate granting study leave with or without pay as the case may be
15.  In the case of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), proof of Registration as OCI
16.  Medical Certificate in case of Orthopedic Physically Challenged candidates
17.  Four Passport size colour photos
