JIPMER PG 2019 Exam Pattern:

  • Examinational Mode: Online
  • Duration of the Examination: 3 hours (180 Minutes)
  • Language of the Examination: English
  • Types of Questions: Multiple Choice
  • Centers of The Examination: Ahmadabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Puducherry, Chennai, Trivandrum, Kolkata and Vijayawada
  •  Scheme of Marking: 4 Marks Per Right Question
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark to be deducted for each wrong answer

 

Points to remember and follow:

  • The applicants are advised to read the prospectus and instructions carefully before filling the application form.
  •  The applicants are advised to duly complete the application form with appropriate details and submit the application online on time.
  • The applicants must use their latest passport size photograph taken on or after July 2018 and upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature.
  • The recommendable size of the photograph is 30mm X 45 mm (30mm width X 45mm Height)
  • The recommendable size of the signature is 80mm X 35mm (80mm width X 35mm width).
  • The printout generation of the duly filled application form and its maintenance for further references is a must for each candidate.
  • The examinational committee declares that changes in the application form are unallowable after final submission.
  • The application fee for the General Category (UR) / OCI / Sponsored / OBC Candidates will be Rs. 1500.
  • The application fee for the SC / ST Candidates will be Rs. 1200.
  • The application fee for the NRI Candidates will be Rs. 3000.
  • Candidates belonging to OPH Category are exempted from application fee.
  • The modes of payment available to pay the application fee are Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Indian Citizens, Overseas Citizens of India, Foreign Nationals or Non-Resident Indians are eligible to apply for JIPMER 2019.
  • It’s mandatory for the applicants to hold MBBS or any valid degree rendered equivalent and recognized by MCI.
  • The completion of a rotational internship for 12 months (1Year) is mandatory for each applicant on or before the last week of December 2018.
  • It’s compulsory to secure 55% aggregate marks for the candidates belonging to General (UR) Category.
  • Candidates belonging to SC / ST Category are mandated to secure 50% aggregate marks.

Clinical Sciences: Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgery, Community Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, Radio Diagnosis, Dermatology, Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Blood Transfusion Medicine.

JIPMER PG 2019 Counseling:

  • The applicants are hereby notified that the Counseling for JIPMER PG 2019 will be conducted through offline mode.
  • The applicants are hereby notified that the JIPMER PG 2019 counseling for the January session is scheduled for conduction on 19th December 2018 whereas the counseling for July session will be conducted on 12th June 2019.
  • Venue Details for the counseling process will be sent to the candidates.
  • The candidates are mandated to bring original certificates along with the self attested copies of the required certificates.
  • The admission letter to be issued to the applicants is a subject to the medical examination and verification process after the successful appearance of the candidate for the counseling process.
