Introduction About the College

The Oxford Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre Bangalore was established by the Children’s Education Society. One of the private minority medical colleges in Karnataka, Oxford Medical College Bangalore offers undergraduate – MBBS Course for medical aspirants. The medical college is well-constructed and various facilities are available for the students in the campus such as Central Library, Lecture Halls, Hostels, Sports, Gymnasium, Cafeteria, etc. This private medical college is attached to a well-equipped teaching hospital to provide effective practical training for its students.

Admission to MBBS Course at The Oxford Medical College takes place through KEA/NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test). Students who qualify in the medical entrance exam can secure a seat through merit or under management quota. NRI students must appear for NEET in order to secure direct admission under NRI quota.

Since it’s a minority medical college, the percentage of medical seats reserved for minority students is high and students are given course fee concession upon submitting relevant documents.

Admission Process


  • The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
  • The candidates must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std. or equivalent exam with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY as subjects of study and ENGLISH as one of the languages of study.
  • The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group and 40% in the case of SC / ST / Category.



The domicile students of Karnataka can seek MBBS admission in The Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre through K-CET Entrance Exam. K-CET Admission Process
