Introduction About the College

St. John's Medical College Bangalore (SJMC Bangalore) was started by the Catholic Bishop's Conference of India. It’s a constituent unit of St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences. Listed as one of the top private medical colleges in Karnataka recognized by MCI, St. John’s Medical College offers undergraduate – MBBS Course and postgraduate – MD , MS & Diploma Course for medical aspirants. The medical college campus has excellent infrastructure and learning resources that collectively provide a stimulating learning environment for the students. Admission Packages for St. Johns Medical College

Admission Process


  • The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
  • The candidates must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std. or equivalent exam with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY as subjects of study and ENGLISH as one of the languages of study.
  • The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group and 40% in the case of SC / ST / Category.



The domicile students of Karnataka can seek MBBS admission in St. Johns Medical College through K-CET Entrance Exam. K-CET Admission Process


The Non-Karnataka candidates can seek MBBS admission in St. Johns Medical College through SJET entrance exam. SJET Admission Process

Note: Even Karnataka students can seek MBBS admission through SJET.
