Introduction About the College

Al Ameen Medical College Bijapur was established by Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust (ACFT) in. It’s one of the most sought after MCI recognized minority medical colleges in Karnataka offering undergraduate - MBBS Course and postgraduate – MD , MS & Diploma courses. This medical college has good infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like Hostels, Cafeteria, Sports, Transport & Security, Auditorium, Bank & Sub Post Office, Gymnasium, etc. The campus encloses a hi-tech hospital with modern amenities that cater to the medical needs of the society.

Admission to MBBS / MD / MS / Diploma course at Al Ameen Medical College (AAMC Bijapur) takes place through KEA/NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test). Students who qualify in the medical entrance exam can secure a seat through merit or under management quota. NRI students must appear for NEET in order to secure direct admission under NRI quota.

Since it’s a minority medical college, the percentage of seat reservation for minority students is high and students are given course fee concession upon submitting relevant documents.

Admission Process


  • The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
  • The candidates must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std. or equivalent exam with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY as subjects of study and ENGLISH as one of the languages of study.
  • The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group and 40% in the case of SC / ST / Category.
